Key Stage 2 Beginner Ensembles

We have various ensembles running across the whole of Suffolk. You can attend whichever ensemble suits you best.

Brantham - Wednesdays 3.45 - 4.30pm, Brooklands Community Primary School, Palfrey Heights, Brantham, Nr Manningtree CO11 1RX

Felixstowe - Tuesdays 4.00 - 4.45pm, Felixstowe School, High Street, Felixstowe IP11 9QR

Framlingham - Thursdays 3.45 - 4.30pm, Framlingham Sir Robert Hitchams CEVA Primary School, College Road, Framlingham IP13 9EP

Haverhill - Wednesdays 3.30 - 4.15pm, Place Farm Primary Academy, Camps Road, Haverhill CB9 8HF 

Ipswich West - Thursdays 3.45-4.30pm, Chantry Academy, Mallard Way, Ipswich IP2 9LR

Lowestoft - Tuesdays 3.45 - 4.30pm, Red Oak Primary School, Southwell Road, Lowestoft NR33 0RZ

Stowupland - Tuesdays 3.45 - 4.30pm, Stowupland High School, Church Road, Stowupland IP14 4BQ

No. Any Key Stage 2 student who is learning an instrument in their first year can attend no matter who their tutor is.

Membership to these ensembles is free of charge until the end of the Summer term 2024 to any Key Stage 2 musician in their first year of learning a musical instrument. 

Yes. You can attend these ensembles on any instrument as long as you are in your first year of learning.
Please remember to bring your instrument with you to each rehearsal. If you require a keyboard or do not have an instrument that you can bring then please get in touch with us at county.musicservice@suffolk.gov.uk
