Junior and Intermediate ensembles

Junior and Intermediate ensembles follow a programme of weekly rehearsals during school term times, leading to shared performances and concerts throughout the year.

Instruments

• Brass: cornet, trumpet, baritone, tenor horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, french horn
• Guitar: acoustic, electric, bass
• Percussion: glockenspiel
• Strings: violin, viola, cello, double bass
• Voice
• Woodwind: flute, oboe, Eb clarinet, Bb clarinet, saxophone, tenoroon, bassoon

Junior Programme

For musicians aged 7-18 who are at a standard equivalent to grade 1-3 and who might have already taken part in a First Access Ensemble.

Intermediate Ensembles

For musicians aged 7-18 who are playing/singing at a standard equivalent to grade 3+.
