Local Safeguarding Children Board Suffolk

The Suffolk LSCB has been established as required by legislation and statutory guidance and is required to act with independence and authority in respect of the work of all organisations whose staff come into contact with children and young people, their parents and carers. Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)

The MASH consultation line is for you to discuss the most appropriate and effective way of providing or obtaining help and support for a child (or adult) you feel is at risk of abuse. This will include advice and guidance about making a referral where necessary, including how to involve parents.

What should I do if I'm worried about the safeguarding practices within schools?

Suffolk County Council and Schools' Choice have whistleblowing policies and procedures that explain what you should do if you are concerned.
