Events like this take place across the UK each year, marking the end of the Friday Afternoons project. The Big Sing is the largest event taking place in Suffolk, held at Snape Maltings Concert Hall.

Rebuilding Pagodas

Rebuilding Pagodas - a joint education project between Aldeburgh Music, the Britten-Pears Foundation and DanceEast.

Inspired by Britten’s response to the sound world of the gamelan in The Prince of the Pagodas, yesterday (Sunday 28 June) young people from around Suffolk worked to create two new pieces as part of the closing events of this year’s Aldeburgh Festival.
